Tightly woven community visions have driven rdg tribe towards an exploration of organic sounds with their past releases and listening events, all amplified by a handmade sound system. Continuing in this vein, Javier Salazar's latest release 'Tides' stands as a testament to the duo's outstanding storytelling abilities. Following the intimate ‘Naucodie’ outing in 2023, ’Tides’ was created with ceaseless motion in focus. A dynamic yet tranquil character leading the duo to mine through the cavernous states of aural exploration with their signature slow burn and relentless force. Adding to the elegant and soaring rhythms of the label's third release is the renowned Dutch sound designer Samuel van Dijk. Renowned under his aliases VC-118A, Mohlao, and Multicast Dynamics, van Dijk now delivers a gently driving break version of the title track.

Minimal Collective’s premiere pick is the original version of the title track ‘Tides’. Beginning with sparse vistas of rhythm, the track unfolds into a quest for introspective resolution. Minimal and allusive in nature, Javier Salazar remind us that it’s the primal sound that resonates eternally.
