Stockholm-based ADILR arrives at Dvärv’s recently founded Limen Records with Kyūsoku EP, sinking deeper into his dub-rooted language as low frequencies open the door to a quieter, more isolated place in his sound.
In 2023, ADILR’s releases Aerial Cognitions and Vayu The God Of Wind appeared on Greyscale, the Lithuanian dub techno label founded by grad_u and Rima Prusakova. Both saw him move deeper into dub and hypnotic techno, drawing from the likes of Deepchord and Intrusion. Heavy low-end and spatial melodies have since remained central, turning experiences of grief and loneliness into dancefloor melancholy.
Founded by Dvärv in 2026, Limen Records takes its name from the Latin word for threshold, referring to change and transition. After starting the label with his own production, Dvärv now opens it to ADILR. Kyūsoku EP portrays his current transition towards slowing down and turning inwards through four tracks of deep FM bass rhythms.
This week’s pick is Textural Artifact, where a subtle presence of rhythm moves through echoing waves. As the pace changes, ADILR finds new ground within his own voice.
