Situated in the historic Marolles centre, GIMIC is an initiative by artists, for artists. The location serves as a hub for the creative industry – is home to a globally broadcasting radio show – and, as of today, the initiator behind an independent record label. This 10-track VA is a reflection of their curation so far; organic, cerebral, and forward-thinking dance music, connecting scenes from France, Germany, and beyond. All artists bring their talent to the table and together form a compelling narrative to GIMIC Records’ first outing.

Laima Adelaide her productions and live sets are known for nature-infused, hypnotic compositions. Inspired by manga illustrations, she translates the story of an emerging wall meant as a palette for reflection, implemented in dense spheres of deep breathing sonic layers. 

“They don't mark it on any map. It's never the same shape twice. Some say The Residual finds you. Tonight, it's a tunnel under an overpass, warm-lit with old sodium lamps, graffiti melted into layers like soft geologies of emotion”

Minimal Collective premieres this subtly unfolding track. Anchored by a subterranean component, soft but rigid, allowing echoing droplets and a whispering hiss to linger above.
