Composer and producer Laima Adelaide releases an exciting and hypnotic new EP entitled Obsidian on New Dawn Records. Adelaide’s music is generally inspired by nature and its elements such as water and air, like on Obsidian.
Laima Adelaide is influenced by avantgarde music as she studied classical composition in Stuttgart, where Predawn Records is located as well. In her music and live performances she intertwines noisy textures with deep hypnotic beats. She has released before on Oslated, Phonotropsimi, Annulled Music and others.
Our premiere pick 'Deep Sea' develops like a ship whirling in stormy weather on an open sea, mixing airy harmonies with wavey, trance-like beats.
