The Melbourne-based self-taught producer, live act and DJ Tangerine releases her debut EP, titled First Breath. She unites two divergent approaches: her productions are just as chaotic as delicate, embracing the beauty of contradiction.
Tangerine has a background in composing for classical piano and shifted gears towards producing electronic music nearing the end of 2020. Her style consists of a medley of (psy)trance, IDM, drum and bass and experimental music. Melodies spill over into agitated rhythms: a modular approach to production that is distinctly cinematic.
